Twain, Mark The Mysterious Stranger, Illustrations by N.C. Wyeth, 1916, a Very Good copy and 1st Edition published by Harper Brothers, N.Y. Includes 7 Illustrations by N.C. Wyeth; Hardback with paste on color plates. Dust Jacket has wear & tears at top/bottom of spine and around edges thus in Good Condition (Please see pictures & the book is over 100 years old!). Book shows fading on the front inside boards due to news clipping laid flat for many years, and back shows minor rub and fading (please see pictures).  Additionally, inside at top left of back board has a small pencil number inscription and last 3 pages are not fully cut/separated. Otherwise, book is solid structurally, the pages are clean, and the gilt lettering and title board are bright (two small abrasions at bottom of front board title color plate. Overall, a Very Good copy of a book that is over 100 years old; price commensurate w/ imperfections. Please review pictures and ask questions should these arise.  $345.00/20.00
