SOLD RARE Robert Cray RIAA Award, “Strong Persuader” Certified Gold, 1986

Robert Cray RIAA Award, “Strong Persuader” Certified Gold, 1986, issued to commemorate sales of over 500,000 copies. Includes a gold colored LP disc with overlapping gold cassette shell mounted above the authentic, custom engraved dedication plaque which includes LP artwork miniature and RIAA hologram. Presented to Mr. Jeff Brody, music executive (at the time) for Mercury records. Measures 17 x 21 inches. Overall, in good condition considering age (30+ years old) and looks nice hanging on the wall. However, there is some wear and tear on this award, mostly scratches on front and along frame. The album artwork on the bottom left has begun to peel back slightly, not very noticiable.
